i-tiva reduces the cost of overdue and reserve notification and provides a 24 hour renewal service. The i-tiva platform provides a user tool for library staff, without LMS staff or vendor intervention, enabling customisation of the standard installed features.

i-tiva Message Features

  • Overdue items - i-tiva Message offers a solution to dramatically improve the collection process, improving book supply at the same time as reducing the costs. Library users will be happier and the library will perform better.
  • Reservations/Holds - When items are reserved, library users can be advised of their availability quickly, for early collection. This can even be as early as the day they become available.
  • Other forms of notification - Library users can be given information quickly and cost effectively e.g. closure of a branch.

i-tiva Connect

  • Registered library users are able to call in and access their library account for Information, Account Status, Renewals, Reservations
  • Library staff can view reports on calls being made into the system, and also see details of actions performed by users
  • i-tiva Connect is interactive with the Library Management System (LMS), updating in accordance with parameters pre-set by the library

i-tiva Connect Reports

  • i-tiva Connect Reports is an optional software module that will analyse and generate detailed reports from the i-tiva Connect system, providing libraries with feedback on calls and user actions. i-tiva Connect Reports can provide the following information:
    • Total number of callers.
    • Caller volume patterns.
    • Total number of item renewals.
    • Transfer requests.

i-tiva SMS

  • i-tiva Message can deliver messages via SMS through mobile phone text messaging. i-tiva SMS ensures the message is delivered quickly and efficiently to a large audience.

i-tiva Booking for computer and other equipment

  • 24 hour access by phone to book PC’s and other items reducing staff time spent on taking bookings
  • Interacts with leading Booking software packages in order to make, confirm or alter a booking in real time
  • Integrates with the library’s Library Management System (LMS) in order to authenticate users
  • Works in conjunction with the i-tiva Connect module
  • Different item types can be booked if available (internet & word processing PC's etc.)
  • Cancellations can be made when a booking is no longer required
  • Indicates that necessary payments need to or have been made

i-tiva Report Forwarding

  • i-tiva Report Forwarding enables daily reports to be emailed to key personnel so they are kept informed of the delivery success of i-tiva Message.

Multiple Extension Transfer

i-tiva supports the option of Multiple Extension Transfer.

  • This functionality allows users to be diverted to the next available staff member.
